Jerry D. Kennett, MD, FACC

Dr. Kennett is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology.  He has served on the Boone Hospital Center (BHC) Medical Staff for more than thirty years, with his initial appointment to Active Staff status April 20, 1979.

Dr. Kennett has served on numerous committees, in a variety of roles, including Chief of Staff, Vice Chief of Staff, Secretary/Treasurer for the Medical Executive Committee, Chair of the Continuous Quality Improvement Committee, and Chief of the Department of Medicine.  He is a member of the Mortality Review Board, Chair of the Credentials Committee and Chair of the Utilization Review Committee.

In addition to Dr. Kennett’s practice and voluntary service to Boone Hospital Center, he has been an active member and the past President of the Missouri State Medical Association, as well as serving on the Board of Trustees of the American College of Cardiology.
