MarCom Platinum Award 2007Communications contest honors Primaris

COLUMBIA, Mo.—The MarCom Awards, an international creative competition recognizing communications and marketing, announced today that Primaris has won several awards for outstanding work, including the contest’s highest honor.

Primaris earned a Platinum award, the most prestigious award offered in the competition, for its quarterly newsletter, QualityTODAY.

In addition, Primaris received a Gold for its marketing campaign to help surgeons make surgery safer. A Gold was awarded in the magazine writing category for an article on improving health care for minorities.

A promotional poster for the annual Step Out to Fight Diabetes event also received an honorable mention.

The MarCom Awards contest is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals. This year, there were over 5,000 entries.

Other winners this year include national names such as the American Cancer Society, Boost Mobile, Chevron, IBM, Lockheed Martin, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Missouri Botanical Garden.
