Improving Quality
and Financial Results

primaris flame Missouri's Health Information Technology Center

For decades, Primaris has been working with healthcare providers to improve the quality of care for Missourians with Medicare. As a partner of the new state Health Information Technology Assistance Center, we are continuing those efforts, promoting and assisting providers with the use of electronic health records, or EHR.

Funded by the federal government and authorized under the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH), Primaris’ experts are helping physicians and other providers not only find the right EHR system for them, but also to use the technology in a way that is meaningful.

Physicans who achieve “meaningful use” of an EHR system stand to receive up to $44,000 over the next five years—or up to $64,000 over the next seven years if serving a high Medicaid population.

We invite those interested in this exciting project to fill out the interest form. For more information about getting involved, please feel free to visit our partners’ Web resources as well, or contact Cora Butler at 800-735-6776, ext. 205.
