primaris flame Wanted: Doctors to help us make a healthier Missouri

Primaris is currently seeking Missouri physicians to help with our Clinical Review program.

Missouri's medical community benefits from routine and robust physician peer review of Medicare cases for a number of reasons. Review of physician-provided care should be performed by physicians, not by other health care providers or non-clinical administrators.  Peer review cultivates a collegial environment in which both physician reviewers and the attending physicians of the cases they review can conduct an appropriate, clinically-oriented dialog.

Primaris’ approach to peer review is not punitive.  We strive to work cooperatively and respectfully with physicians to improve care provided to Missourians.  Physicians who perform peer review often gain new insights into the daily practice of medicine and earn additional prestige and respect of their peers.

If you have a Missouri medical license, have active hospital admitting privileges, work at least 20 hours a week and see Medicare patients, please consider joining the Primaris team. You can make a positive difference in healthcare in Missouri.

For details, please check out the Physician Reviewer section of this Web site.
