Come join the Missouri Center for Patient Safety (MOCPS) and the Missouri Hospital Association (MHA) for People, Priorities and Learning Together (PPLT), a comprehensive, yet flexible, initiative designed to educate key stakeholders and improve clinical care and patient safety culture at the bedside.
The PPLT initiative builds upon evidence-based patient safety programs previously sponsored by MOCPS and MHA, including the Comprehensive Unit-based Safety Program (CUSP), Just Culture, and Team STEPPS™.
PPLT is unique in that participants can “pick and choose” components of the initiative that best support the individual needs of their organization, while garnering the benefits of learning from and collaborating with other hospitals across the state, and the nation - at no cost to MHA member hospitals.
The first module of PPLT, The Basics of CUSP, will begin in September. This module will teach participants how to implement the Comprehensive Unit-based Safety Program, researched and developed by Johns Hopkins University, on their units.
